The Noise Problem in AI
By Jean-Luc Martel —
AI isn’t slowing down. But the conversation around AI? It’s collapsing into sameness.
Every day the feed looks identical: “agentic workflows,” “10x with vibe coding,” carousel threads repeating the same promises with different color palettes.
Everyone is producing more. Nobody is saying anything new.
What I’m seeing behind the scenes: founders mistaking volume for momentum. They’re shipping content instead of strategy. They’re chasing the part of the curve that’s already been arbitraged to zero.
The truth is uncomfortable: AI isn’t oversaturated. The language around AI is.
And once the language saturates, the window for advantage narrows. Fast.
The people who feel this shift—who sense the floor dropping out of the discourse—are right. Something deeper is moving under all the noise.
And if you’re building in this space, you can’t afford to confuse loudness with leverage.
More on that soon.
