AI Isn't a Technology Problem Anymore — It's a Positioning Problem

By Jean-Luc Martel

Everyone keeps talking about models, features, agents, workflows. But the people actually winning right now have something else in common: they chose the right place to stand.

Not the loudest place. The leverage place.

The AI landscape is no longer defined by who builds the cleverest thing. It’s defined by who understands where the value is migrating:

Most founders aren’t losing because their tech is worse. They’re losing because they chose the wrong coordinates.

AI has stopped being a technology race. It’s a positioning race.

If you pick the wrong terrain, every step takes twice as much effort. Pick the right terrain, and every step compounds.

I’ve been mapping where that terrain is shifting. I’ll share more about that next week.
